USP20-mediated PGAM1 stabilization promotes glycolysis and confers osimertinib resistance in non-small cell lung carcinoma
Abstract Osimertinib resistance poses a significant clinical challenge in treating non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients harboring EGFR-activating or T790M mutations, highlighting the urgent need to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. In this study, we show that elevated USP20 expression drives osimertinib resistance and is associated with poor clinical outcomes in osimertinib-resistant NSCLC.

Impact of Future Climate Change on Maize Yield and Contributions of Adaptation Measures on Yield Alleviation Change: Comparison in Similar Typical Area of Kenya and Northwest China
Climate change poses increasing risks to global food security, with maize production in vulnerable regions such as Nakuru County, Kenya, and Northwest China expected to be significantly affected. This study assessed the impacts of future climate conditions on maize growth and yield in the 2030s (2021–2040) and 2050s (2041–2060) under RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5, relative to a 1986–2005 baseline.

Philosophical Interpretation of “God Is Dead”: Retreat, Disruption, and Judgment
1. Introduction “If God is dead, then everything is permitted”. The self-evidence of God’s existence is called into question, implying that people are no longer inclined to live a devout and holy life, and the moral standards that people commonly follow lose their binding force. For Dostoevsky, this signifies a witness to a real catastrophe: the decline of 19th-century Orthodox culture plunges Russian society into confusion and chaos, materializing in the tragedies and suffering of the masses.

The space cold atom interferometer for testing the equivalence principle in the China Space Station - npj Microgravity
|
Abstract The precision of the weak equivalence principle (WEP) test using atom interferometers (AIs) is expected to be extremely high in microgravity environment. The microgravity scientific laboratory cabinet (MSLC) in the China Space Station (CSS) can provide a higher-level microgravity than the CSS itself, which provides a good experimental environment for scientific experiments that require high microgravity.

Investigation on the Mineral Catalytic Graphitization of Anthracite during Series High Temperature Treatment
4. Discussion The differences in the structural and graphitization degree of the samples with different minerals added were probably due to the composition and structural features of the minerals. Therefore, it was necessary to investigate how the minerals affected the growth of the microcrystals during the graphitization process. The La/Lc value can be used to depict the priority growth along the basal plane and vertical direction during graphitization under high-temperature treatment.
Leflunomide treatment for patients hospitalised with COVID-19: DEFEAT-COVID randomised controlled trial
Safety Incidences of AE of all grades are summarised in table 2. The table shows the number of AEs recorded in the study and the number of patients affected by at least one AE. At least one AE was reported in 98/214 participants, and most of them were mild in severity. AEs of moderate grade were reported in 13/104 patients in SOC+L group and 9/110 patients in SOC group.
Life Cycle Assessment of Carbon Footprint of Green Tea Produced by Smallholder Farmers in Shaanxi Province of China
Abstract : China is a major producer of green tea, and most of its green tea production comes from small farmers. Accessing the carbon emission status of this group can provide data support and a decision-making basis for the realization of carbon neutrality in China’s tea industry. In this study, the life cycle assessment method was used to analyze the carbon footprint of green tea produced by smallholder farmers in Liugou Village, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province.

Pressure induced polymerization of acetylide anions in CaC2 and 10^7 folds enhancement of electrical conductivity
Transformation between different types of carbon-carbon bonding in carbides often results in dramatical change of physical and chemical properties. Under external pressure, unsaturated carbon atoms form new covalent bonds regardless of the electrostatic repulsion. It was predicted that calcium acetylide (also known as calcium carbide, CaC2) polymerizes to form calcium polyacetylide, calcium polyacenide and calcium graphenide under high pressure.
