Kyle Saavedra

Hello! I’m Kyle, a freelance film critic and lifelong horror nerd. I’m currently based in New York City, but half of my heart will always reside in Southern California.

My academic background is in Communication Studies & Film, Television and Media Studies, but my professional career has found me circling the higher education realm in various alumni engagement and student affairs roles. I recently earned my M.A. in Cinema Studies at New York University and am ready to weaponize it by covering film festivals, local screenings, and other movie premieres that I may so graciously have the chance to attend.
