Zero-field spin-wave networks with integrated non-volatile memory
Abstract Magnonic circuits that use spin waves for nanoscale signal processing and computing are widely regarded as a promising alternative to traditional semiconductor electronics. However, a key missing component of this information nanotechnology is a feasible approach for the integration of memory directly into spin-wave devices.
Highly crosslinked polymeric matrix for efficient ultralong dual-mode afterglow with multiple responses
Organic materials exhibiting long persistent luminescence have attracted great research interests in various fields including anti-counterfeiting, sensors, bio-imaging and emitting devices [1]. Facilitating intersystem crossing (ISC) from singlet to triplet and reducing non-radiative decay enable stable radiative transitions of triplet excitons, resulting in long afterglow under ambient conditions [2].

Robust incoherent perfect absorption
A coherent perfect absorber is capable of completely absorbing input waves. However, the coherent perfect absorption severely depends on the superposition of the input waves, and the perfect absorption is sensitive to the disorder of the absorber. Thus, a robust incoherent perfect absorption, being insensitive to the superposition of input waves and the system disorder, is desirable for practical applications.
Berry curvature inside a $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetry protected exceptional surface
A three-dimensional non-Hermitian Hamiltonian with parity-time symmetry can exhibit a closed exceptional surface (EP surface) in momentum space, which is a non-Hermitian deformation of the degeneracy line. Since the degeneracy line lacks an internal space, the distributions of Berry curvature inside the EP surface become particularly intriguing. This paper studies the distributions taking a toruslike EP surface as an example.

Pseudo-Hermiticity protects the energy-difference conservation in the scattering
Symmetry plays a fundamentally important role in physics. In this work, we find a conservation law, S†(Hc†)S(Hc)=I, which is valid for any non-Hermitian scattering center Hc. As a result, the reflections and transmissions of a non-Hermitian system {r,t} and its Hermitian conjugation system {r¯,t¯} satisfy the conservation law r¯*r+t¯*t=1, instead of the energy conservation law that applies to incoming and outgoing waves in a Hermitian system.
Tunable Aharonov-Bohm cages through $\text{anti-}\mathcal{PT}\text{-symmetric}$ imaginary couplings
The Aharonov-Bohm (AB) cage enables localized confinement with nondiffractive propagation for arbitrary excitation. In this study, we introduce an anti-parity-time (anti-PT) symmetric imaginary coupling in a generalized Creutz ladder to construct a non-Hermitian AB cage with tunable flat-band energy.
ANALYSIS TREATMENT OUTCOME OF 46 REFRACTORY/RELAPSED PEDIATRIC MATURE B CELL LYMPHOMA PATIENTS‐MULTI‐CENTER EXPERIENCE FROM CHINA
Introduction: Aim to find the efficacy treatment strategy for refractory/relapsed(r/r) patients with pediatric mature B-cell lymphoma (MBL) by summarizing the treatment outcome of 46 patients from Chinese Children's Lymphoma Multi-center Cooperation Group (CNCL). Methods: The MBL children treated from 1 May 2017 to 31 December 2022 were enrolled. The modified LMB89/96 protocol was adopted for the initial treatment. Clinical characteristics and risk factors were analyzed with r/r patients.
High-order spectral singularity
Abstract Exceptional point and spectral singularity are two types of singularity that are unique to non-Hermitian systems. Here, we report the high-order spectral singularity as a high-order pole of the scattering matrix for a non-Hermitian scattering system, and the high-order spectral singularity is a unification of the exceptional point and spectral singularity.
CORRELATION BETWEEN SOMATIC MUTATIONS AND PROGNOSIS IN PEDIATRIC MATURE B‐CELL LYMPHOMA
Introduction: To investigate the prognostic factors of childhood mature B-cell lymphoma (MBL), especially the significance of somatic mutations in the clinical features and prognosis, by analyzing the clinical chartacteristics, genetic mutation results and prognosis of 133 children with MBL.
Stepping out from Church Patriarchy
By L. Jin You don't realize how heavy it was until it's gone. 30 years ago, I eavesdropped on a pastoral search committee. They were interviewing a potential pastor, but they were concerned because the candidate's wife was a gifted teacher and might want to teach Sunday school. That was problematic, because women weren't supposed to teach men. The committee spent an hour interrogating her in order to ascertain...
"Two Captains Sink a Ship" is a Horrible Reason For Christian Women to Submit to their Husbands
By L. Jin This post is part of my Bad Patriarchy Logic series, in which I reflect on the justifications for male headship that I heard growing up in the conservative evangelical church, and explain why the logic is ... well, bad. "Two captains sink the ship and two cooks spoil the stew. In the same way, a marriage...
Coherent resonant transmission
Abstract The reflectionless coherent light transport in the coupled resonator array is investigated in the presence of intra-resonator intermodal coupling between the clockwise and counterclockwise modes, which plays a constructive role for modulating the light flow rather than inducing the unwanted backscattering.
Coalescing Majorana edge modes in non-Hermitian $${\mathscr{P}}{\mathscr{T}}$$PT-symmetric Kitaev chain
Abstract A single unit cell contains all the information about the bulk system, including the topological feature. The topological invariant can be extracted from a finite system, which consists of several unit cells under certain environment, such as a non-Hermitian external field. We present an exact solvable non-Hermitian finite-size Kitaev chain with \({\mathscr{P}}{\mathscr{T}}\)-symmetric chemical potentials at the symmetric point.

Fully Coupled Nonlinear Fluid Flow and Poroelasticity in Arbitrarily Fractured Porous Media: A Hybrid-Dimensional Computational Model
We formulate the problem of fully coupled transient fluid flow and quasi-static poroelasticity in arbitrarily fractured, deformable porous media saturated with a single-phase compressible fluid. The fractures we consider are hydraulically highly conductive, allowing discontinuous fluid flux across them; mechanically they act as finite-thickness shear deformation zones prior to failure (i.e., non-slipping and non-propagating), leading to ‘apparent discontinuity’ in strain and stress across them.
Using chiral ionic liquid additives to enhance asymmetric induction in a Diels-Alder reaction
A bis-oxazoline ligand has been complexed using Cu( ) and Zn( ) trifluoromethanesulfonate and a range of chiral ionic liquid (CIL) additives based on natural products were used as a co-catalyst for a Diels–Alder reaction. The catalytic performance of these systems was compared for the asymmetric Diels–Alder reaction between N-acryloyloxazolidinone and cyclopentadiene with and without the presence of a CIL additive.
