Microgrids for energy access in remote and islanded communities under natural disasters - Context of Lombok Island Indonesia
Poverty in electrical energy is a major issue in developing countries with many islands. In Pacific Island nations, almost 70% of the population lacks access to electricity [1]. Indonesia, an island country, is a fast-developing country in this region and has 17504 islands, of which only 6000 are populated [1]. Nine percent of Indonesia's 255 million inhabitants lack access to energy from the main grid [2].
Nonlinear diffusion of negatively charged excitons in monolayer $\mathrm{W}{\mathrm{Se}}_{2}$
Abstract We investigate the diffusion process of negatively charged excitons (trions) in a WSe2 transition-metal dichalcogenide monolayer. We measure the time-resolved photoluminescence spatial profiles of these excitonic complexes. They exhibit nonlinear diffusion corresponding to an effective negative diffusion behavior. Specifically, we examine the dynamics of the two negatively charged bright excitons (intervalley and intravalley trions) and of the dark trion.
