We finally got a break yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, when the rain stayed away for awhile. So we decided to have lunch at La Maison Douce.

We only hope the streak continues, as we're expecting two special guests (a couple from Satsuma, Florida) to arrive this coming Sunday for a 9-day visit.

The park was virtually empty when we arrived, and would be an ideal place to relax or bring a picnic lunch. After visiting the park, Dee wanted to find the housewares store just a block or so away.
