The power of relating through writing I am standing at the edge of a forest. The air carries the earthy notes of dried pine needles decaying softly into the forest’s floor. A brisk breeze comes down through the trees, jovially shaking their tops. Birds call to each other and swoop and dive. At my feet is a rushing stream, water spills and bounces over the rocks, racing giddily by. The warmth of the sun on my shoulders feels kind.

295 million years ago magma ascended towards the Earth’s surface, forming plutonic rocks that converged together to form a massive batholith. The Larvik Batholith - also known as the Larvik Plutonic Complex - is made up of 10 plutons that date back to the Early Permian time, 292–298 million years ago. The Larvik Plutonic Complex rests in southeastern Norway near Oslo, surrounded by the Sveconorwegian gneisses.

About six months into collecting crystals, I started getting really curious about what could be done with them besides carrying a few around in my purse or holding them during meditation sessions. The bowl sitting on my bookshelf was filling up with a veritable rainbow of options, and I was interested in starting to work some real magic. Enter the crystal grid. In a grid formation, crystals work in aligned energy towards a purpose, which optimizes their collective vibrational power.
