What was your first job as a journalist?

I've never had a *job* in journalism, but I did get started with writing about the NHL's San Jose Sharks for SBNation site Fear The Fin.

Nope! Wish I did, though.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That outcomes are baked in -- politics is much more fluid than people think, even in the age of hyperpolarization!
