Prognostic Value of Hemoglobin, Albumin, Lymphocyte, and Platelet Score in Locally Advanced Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
1 Introduction Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a highly prevalent malignant tumor of the head and neck in southern China and Southeast Asia [1]. It is characterized by strong invasiveness, a high propensity for lymph node metastasis, and a close correlation with the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) [2]. Approximately 70% of patients present with locally advanced disease at the time of initial diagnosis [3].
Quantifying the temperature-related fraction of hand, foot, and mouth disease using distributed lag non-linear models: lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic period
Abstract Background: Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is a sudden infectious illness commonly seen in children under 5 years old. It has been reported that meteorological factors, particularly the temperature, influence the transmission of HFMD. However, the connection between the temperature effect and social contact patterns has not been clearly established yet. The occurrence of COVID-19 provided an accidental opportunity to investigate this problem.

Methods: Data were collected from the REACTION study in Dalian, China.
Environmental Inequality Embedded in Global Food Trade: Evidence from the Mismatch between Embodied Air Pollutant Emissions and Value Added Click to copy article link Article link copied!
3.1. Global Food-related Air Pollutant Emissions In 2017, the global food system generated approximately 10.8 million tons (Mt) of CPE across the entire supply chain. The largest contributor was “other plant products” (3.42 Mt, 31.6%), followed by grains (2.56 Mt, 23.7%) and “other animal products” (1.71 Mt, 15.8%). Beef and dairy contributed 1.18 Mt (10.9%) and 0.96 Mt (8.9%), respectively, while oilseeds and nuts accounted for 0.98 Mt (9.1%) ( Figure 1 ). Figure 1 Figure 1.

Flash droughts reduce national-scale crop yields in the United States
Abstract Flash droughts can lead to more severe reductions in crop productivity compared to slow-onset droughts. However, the diverse pathways of flash drought impact on crop yield remains unclear. Here, we assessed the effects of flash drought on crops in the United States, and disentangled the soil moisture and atmospheric stress pathways. Four datasets consistently identify intensified and prolonged flash droughts reduce yield with the sensitivity from −0.52%/% to −0.19%/%.
Effect of climate-driven childhood sleep erosion on potential regional economic inequality
Abstract Climate change is likely to increase human exposure to high temperatures, leading to sleep loss. Reduced sleep duration may impair intellectual and cognitive performance, including in childhood, with potential socioeconomic impacts. Here we explore the potential global and regional economic costs of diminished childhood cognitive performance related to future climate-driven sleep erosion.
Review Genomic Hotspot Mining and Characterization for Stable Expression of Therapeutic Protein in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The development of rCHO cell lines that stably express therapeutic proteins is crucial for pharmaceutical protein industrial production. In this study, a systematic method was established to identify genomic hotspots for exogenous protein expression in CHO cells and construct stable recombinant CHO cell strains. Four stable monoclonal cell lines (1b7, 1d2, 2d9, and 2f7) were obtained by using the lentiviral random integration reporter gene.

Gwinnett county - investor friendly realtors
Hello any recommendations for investor friendly realtors? We’re currently looking for a 2 year “live-in” flip, ready to buy asap (already pre-approved), and then we want to start doing traditional home flipping with hard loans within the following year. So this would be a long term relationship. We’re also new to this.
Chromatin accessibility derived from cfDNA serves as a novel classification biomarker of glioma
Highlights ● cfDNA derived from glioma patients could be used to decode chromatin accessibility. ● Epigenetic-based cfDNA marker displayed potential in differentiating glioma patients. ● Chromatin accessibility analysis has opened up potential clinical utilities of cfDNA. 1 Introduction Glioma, as the most common malignancy of the brain, still has a high mortality rate (1).
Healthy Landscapes
This book responds to the need for a comprehensive and detailed theoretical framework and systemic design approaches to improve mental, physical, social, behavioral, and ecological health in urban environments. Although rapid urban development has created enormous economic and social value, it has also brought problems that have posed serious threats to the health of urban residents.
Frontiers | Clinical efficacy analysis of anterior superior iliac spine 3D-printed guide plate-assisted sacroiliac screw placement for the treatment of pelvic fractures
1 Introduction In recent years, with the improvement of social and economic levels, more patients with pelvic fractures are encountered in clinical diagnosis and treatment, accounting for approximately 3% of systemic fractures (1). Pelvic fractures are often caused by high fall injuries, traffic accidents, and other major traumas, and therefore are usually combined with other injuries, with high complication and mortality rates (2, 3).

Vulnerability Assessment of the Prefabricated Building Supply Chain Based on Set Pair Analysis
1. Introduction Prefabricated building construction is a relatively new construction method. It is fast, efficient, and has a low carbon footprint due to prefabricated and standardized components [1]. Unlike traditional on-site operations, prefabricated building construction utilizes components fabricated in a factory using a standardized design. This method reduces environmental pollution at the construction site, improves construction quality, and reduces the waste of raw materials.
Accelerated symptom improvement in Parkinson’s disease via remote internet-based optimization of deep brain stimulation therapy: a randomized controlled multicenter trial | Communications Medicine
Abstract Deep brain stimulation (DBS) has emerged as an important therapeutic intervention for neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. After initial programming, clinicians are tasked with fine-tuning DBS parameters through repeated in-person clinic visits. We aimed to evaluate whether DBS patients achieve clinical benefit more rapidly by incorporating remote internet-based adjustment (RIBA) of stimulation parameters into the continuum of care.

Weak-measurement-based pseudospin pointer: A cost-effective scheme for precision measurement
As an essential component of state-of-the-art quantum technologies, fast and efficient quantum measurements are in persistent demand over time. Here, we present a precision measurement scheme for weak signals. We propose a dimensionless pseudo-spin pointer based on weak measurement which effectively converts a continuous measurement into a discrete one.
