I'm a freelance technology writer and trainer with a background in IT. I've written for a host of sites and publications, including ZDNET, TechRepublic, PCMag, Macworld, Time, Fortune, and AARP Magazine. I spent seven years writing breaking news for CNET and six years writing a monthly column about Microsoft utilities for the late TechNet Magazine. I've written two books for Wiley & Sons - "Windows 8: Five Minutes at a Time" and "Teach Yourself Visually LinkedIn." I also teach both online and in-person computer classes on such topics as AI, cybersecurity, and social media. And in a past life, I worked in IT for an international company providing product management and systems support in the U.S. and abroad.
