The Honors Student Advisory Board led a panel discussion on Feb. 18 at Weber State University. Sally Cantwell and Dr. Mathew Nicholaou, along with professors Dan Bedford and Jose Otero, openly conversed about insights on the public opinion of science and alternative science and how to respond to beliefs contrary to traditional scientific methods. Professor Jose Otero openly conversed about insights of the public opinion on the lecture.

Most people endure deeply complicated relationships with their own diets. Something as vital as food–that element that, quite literally, keeps one alive–can very often be a character people like to try to fight to the death. At best, many people nurse a sibling-like rivalry with their eating habits, and this is a relationship timbre that is just about as productive as that last time you glued your brother’s shoes to the hardwood floors before his big track meet.
