The recent Miami High School graduate used opportunities within the organization to develop confidence, earn state-level recognition and prepare for a future career in journalism. My involvement in agriculture started at a young age. I was introduced to showing pigs at just three months old. My older cousins Shyla and Coy were the ones that inspired me to start showing. Growing up watching them win all the buckles and banners that they had won, I knew I wanted to be just like them one day.
