1. Introduction The energy sector is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions that is committed to reaching net zero by 2050 []. This means that the total greenhouse gas emissions emitted during power generation would be equal to the emissions removed from the atmosphere during power generation, aiming to limit global warming and climate change effects []. The government aims to reduce all direct emissions from public sector buildings by 50% and 75% by 2032 and 2037, respectively [].
