Graphical Abstract Front cover: In article 2300027 Xu Liu, Fuzhao Li, Manuel Hohgardt, and co-workers explore emissive semiconductor nanoplatelets in fibers generated by stable jet electrospinning by 3D-single particle orientation microscopy and observe counterintuitive but very beneficial perpendicular alignment of the nanoplatelets in these fibers. The origins for this perpendicular alignment are discussed and pave the way for generating entirely novel materials and new optical applications.
