Introduction There are numerous studies investigating the long-term consequences of infants being born at neonatal risk (Eves, Mendonça, Baumann, et al., 2021; Eves, Wolke, Spiegler, & Lemola, 2023; Johnson & Wolke, 2017; Twilhaar et al., 2018).

Abstract Early life nutrition is associated with child behaviour; however, the interplay with genetic vulnerability is understudied. We hypothesised that psychiatric genetic risk interacted with early nutrition to predict behavioural problems in childhood and adolescence. The Raine Study participants with genetic information aged 2–17 were repeatedly evaluated with the child behaviour checklist total problems score (CBCLTOT).

Abstract The Vps10p-domain receptors SorCS1-3 have been repeatedly associated with the development of neurological and psychiatric disorders. They have emerged as key regulators of synaptic activity and neurotrophic signaling, but the underlying molecular mechanism remains poorly understood. Here we report that the SorCS1-3 intracellular domains (ICDs) contain a conserved triple serine motif that potentially functions as a signaling switch to induce neurotrophic signaling in hippocampal neurons.
