Abstract Many resources are now generating, processing, storing, or providing kidney-related molecular, pathological, and clinical data. Reference ontologies offer an opportunity to support knowledge and data organization and integration. The Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) team contributed to the representation and addition of 329 kidney phenotype terms to the Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) and identified many subcategories of acute kidney injury (AKI) or chronic kidney disease (CKD).

Abstract The discovery of patterns associated with diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy response in digital pathology images often requires intractable labeling of large quantities of histological objects. Here we release an open-source labeling tool, PatchSorter, which integrates deep learning with an intuitive web interface.
