While COVID-19 undoubtedly affected private tuberculosis (TB) services, there is evidence signalling the crucial role of the private sector in facilitating continuity of TB care and buffering the pandemic’s impact on TB services overall. There is a need to understand how private sector TB services were affected in three high TB burden countries (India, Indonesia and Nigeria) and to synthesise insights from how these countries responded.
