I Was A Science Professor Who Worked At NASA. I Feared My Secret Second Life Would Unravel It All.
Every Saturday night, I slipped into a sequined bra and booty shorts to hang suspended from a trapeze above the dance floor of a packed-out, 20,000 square ft., iconic nightclub on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles. Then, every Monday, I went to work and hid my thrilling side hustle from the college students I taught. I wanted them to get excited about science without transferring their passions onto me. I am 59 years old and have become a hot topic on TikTok. I was dreading the comments, but I didn’t expect this. I ask Emily, the young woman I hired, so I can have just me and the washing water in the frame.” I am nervous.

My brother, of course, was Richard Feynman—gifted as hell. When I was about three or four, he taught me to add numbers. I’d add them and if I got them right, he’d give me a reward. The reward was allowing me to pull his hair.
Talking with global experts: How will Covid-19 change the way cities work?

This means that the two ice sheets are now losing 475 billion tons of ice per year.
