In case you wonder what our team is up against re vexatious complaints (particularly in relation to our coverage of Gaza), here you have it. The National was the most complained about paper to regulator IPSO (outside London) last year, yet not one complaint was upheld. That's 135 IPSO complaints that our team has to put together responses to, with lots of paperwork and back-and-forth emails, appeals processes etc ... it's time consuming and it eats up resources.
