On Saturday, June 13, the neighborhood’s ninth annual Central West End Cocktail Party will once again transform the area into an open-air celebration packed with cocktails, live music and roaming entertainment. Inspired by what many consider the first cocktail party, a legendary 1917 gathering hosted by Mrs. Julius S.

Sugarfire Smokehouse is stepping up to the plate with a new partnership featuring St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker. The season-long collaboration, which runs through the end of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, will introduce a specialty menu item, a home run-themed giveaway, and a charitable fundraising effort benefiting Walker’s education-focused nonprofit, Walker’s Winners. Beginning Wednesday, June 10, fans can order the limited-time J-Walk Plate at all Sugarfire locations.
