By Lauren Zeugner InkFreeNews SYRACUSE  — For the last several months, Turkey Creek Township Fire Chief Quinn Hunter has been reporting Level Zero incidents to the Turkey Creek Township Fire Territory Board. A Level Zero is when all available ambulances are committed to emergency calls, leaving no ambulance immediately available within the territory.

By Lauren Zeugner InkFreeNews SYRACUSE —  The Turkey Creek Fire Territory Board approved spending $4,250 to hire Baker Tilly, an accounting firm out of Fort Wayne, to explore the possibility of combining the Turkey Creek and Tippecanoe Fire Territories during its regular meeting Monday, June 8.

By Lauren Zeugner InkFreeNews SYRACUSE —  The Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board approved an estimate to lower a well head at Station II during its regular meeting Monday night, June 8. The matter was brought before the board during its May meeting but was tabled when questions about permitting were brought up. Fire Chief Quinn Hunter reported the contractor would take care of obtaining all the necessary permits for the work.
