Sandstorms have been getting worse, and have driven about 3 000 people from their homes in the last 12 years. Residents say they’re feeling the effects of climate change first hand — despite Somalia not even producing a thousandth of the world’s carbon emissions. People fear more infrastructure such as hospitals, homes, schools and shops will be lost — and they see little being done about it.
