Integrative analysis of blood biochemistry and sperm metabolome profiles reveals metabolic determinants of cryotolerance in Bali bulls under standardized nutritional conditions
Zulfi Nur Amrina Rosyada conceived and designed the experiments, performed the experiments, analyzed the data, prepared figures and/or tables, authored or reviewed drafts of the article, and approved the final draft. NLRP3 inflammasome and pyroptosis: implications in inflammation and multisystem disorders
In 2002, the Tschopp laboratory first proposed the concept of the inflammasome, which is a multi-protein complex composed of NLRP3 protein, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein (ASC), and pro-cysteine-aspartic protease-1 (pro-caspase-1) (Martinon, Burns & Tschopp, 2002). D’Souza & Heitman (2001) first proposed the term “pyroptosis” in their study of Salmonella infection in macrophages to define a specific type of programmed cell death associated with inflammatory responses.
Immunosuppressive effect of Plantago major on the innate immunity of Galleria mellonella
All chemicals used in this study were purchased from Sigma-AldrichSt, Louis, MO, USA. The G. mellonella larvae used in this study were sourced from a successive insect culture at the Insect Physiology Research Laboratory, Faculty of Science, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. The larvae were grown under controlled conditions of constant darkness, with a temperature of 28 ± 1°C and a relative humidity (RH) of 65 ± 5%. The larvae used in this study were grown under these specific conditions.
The diagnostic value of serum insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7 in gastric cancer
Correlation between IGFBP7 and clinical characteristics From Table 1, we found that the control group was younger than the gastric cancer group, especially in the independent validation cohorts. Then we used Pearson correlation analysis to further evaluate the correlation between serum IGFBP7 and age. As shown in Fig. 4, there was no lineal correlation between serum IGFBP7 and age (both p > 0.05). As shown in the Fig.

Targeting Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor for Cancer Treatment: Abolishing Both Kinase-Dependent and Kinase-Independent Functions of the Receptor
I. Introduction Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), also known as ErbB1 or HER1, which was discovered by Cohen and coworkers in 1978 (Carpenter et al., 1978), is a member of the human epidermal growth factor receptor (HER) family of four closely related receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). The other HER family members include HER2 (ErbB2), HER3 (ErbB3), and HER4 (ErbB4).
Mechanisms for nutrient interactions from organic amendments and mineral fertilizer inputs under cropping systems: a review
Review Mechanisms for nutrient interactions Several reasons have been attributed to the extra crop yields obtained from combined application of organic inputs and mineral fertilizers. Vanlauwe, Wendt & Diels (2001a) made an assertion that, an extra resultant yield increase from the nutrient inputs was due to an improvement in synchrony between the crop nutrient demand and soil nutrient release. In another experiment carried out in the same year, Vanlauwe et al.
RNAi-based knockdown of candidate gut receptor genes altered the susceptibility of Spodoptera frugiperda and S. litura larvae to a chimeric toxin Cry1AcF
