Comparative analysis of deep learning algorithms for dental caries detection and prediction from radiographic images: a comprehensive umbrella review
DC, a prevalent oral disease affecting individuals worldwide of all ages, is typically diagnosed through visual examination of dental surfaces. Unfortunately, this approach can be subjective and prone to errors. Radiographic imaging has become a widely adopted method for non-invasive and reliable detection of DC. However, this method can also pose challenges, especially in detecting small carious lesions or those in hard-to-reach areas.

Exosomes from adipose-derived stem cells alleviate premature ovarian failure via blockage of autophagy and AMPK/mTOR pathway
Female C57BL/6 mice (n = 36, 18–22 g) aged 6-8 weeks were purchased from the experimental animal center of Inner Mongolia People’s Hospital and acclimated to the conditions of a room at a humidity level of 44 ± 2% humidity and 12 h light/12 h dark cycle at 23 ± 3 °C for one week. Food and water were provided ad libitum. Mice with normal estrous cycle were selected by vaginal exfoliated cell smear.

The novel role of LDHA/LDHB in the prognostic value and tumor-immune infiltration in clear cell renal cell carcinoma
Discussion Aerobic glycolysis, or the Warburg effect, is the well-known and continually validated metabolic reprogramming of cancer. LDH is a critical enzyme involved in glycolysis and carcinogenesis, while its clinical significance in RCC has yet to be fully elucidated. Our previous study found numerous differentially expressed metabolic enzymes, such as HADHA, LDHA, and LDHB, in ccRCC tissues, implying the dysregulated metabolic pathways in the pathogenesis of ccRCC (Zhao et al., 2015).
