An intelligent vocal singing quality assessment model based on adaptive convolution and temporal graph modeling
Vocal singing quality assessment is important to intelligent music education and music information retrieval. With the proliferation of online music education platforms and intelligent vocal training systems, the demand for automated and objective singing quality assessment technologies has been steadily increasing (Nakano, Goto & Hiraga, 2006).

Prenatal corticosteroid use improves the severity and complications of necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm infants: a retrospective multicenter clinical study in China
Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a severe gastrointestinal disease prevalent among neonates and represents a significant cause of neonatal mortality. Particularly in very low birth weight infants, the fatality rate can reach as high as 20% to 30% (De Bernardo et al., 2025). Survivors frequently encounter long-term complications, including short bowel syndrome and neurodevelopmental impairments (Abebe et al., 2024). However, the pathogenesis of NEC remains incompletely understood.
Quality improvement interventions to prevent late-onset sepsis in premature infants: a systematic review and meta-analysis
This systematic review and meta-analysis of 29 QI studies (21 included in quantitative synthesis, n = 29,120 preterm infants) provide robust evidence that QI bundles significantly reduce LOS in premature infants, with a pooled OR of 0.47 (95% CI [0.38–0.58]) for VLBW infants and 0.49 (95% CI [0.29–0.83]) for ELBW infants.

The 6-item specific object anthropomorphism scale: a new questionnaire for children and adults
The present study found evidence that the 6-item SOAS is a psychometrically sound scale to measure the anthropomorphic tendencies towards a non-human object in both adults and primary-school aged children. Results from Studies 1, 2, and 3 demonstrated excellent factor structure and internal consistency for the scale, indicating that all items map onto the same construct.

A novel artificial intelligence-based predictive analytics technique to detect skin cancer
Introduction Skin cancer is brought on by malignant tumors, which develop when the proliferation of abnormal skin cells is left unchecked (Nandhini et al., 2021). The majority of cancer cases are caused by unprotected skin being exposed to UV radiation (Reichrath, 2020). Nowadays, 95 percent of skin malignancies diagnosed are squamous or carcinoma and 5 percent are melanomas (Daniels et al., 2020).
Fingerprint image enhancement using multiple filters
Related work The goal of image enhancement algorithms or filters is to recover the recoverable regions, as well as clarify the ridge details, improve the contrast between ridges and valleys, mitigate/eliminate any unnecessary noise elements, isolating the area of interest in the greyscale images. It is crucial in all images involving feature detection, as indicated by the current work done in this area for easy identification of minutiae that are not properly visible.

Refractory melasma symptoms improve with tranexamic acid
Oral tranexamic acid may improve symptoms of refractory melasma in Asian patients without risk factors or a family history of the disease, according to recent research. “A detailed history to screen for risk factors of thromboembolism, stroke, or heart disease is essential for the attending clinician before initiating therapy,” Hwee Chyen Lee, MRCP, from the National Skin Center in Singapore, and colleagues wrote in their study.
