Comprehensive efficacy of different prostate resection volumes for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia: a systematic review and meta-analysis
At present, although minimally invasive therapies are on the rise, TURP is still the most widely used surgery for treating BPH, and it is considered the gold standard for the treatment of LUTS (Sciacqua et al., 2023; Akpayak et al., 2017). Most TURP aims at debulking the prostate to produce an adequate channel for urine to flow by reducing the volume of the middle or lateral lobes of the prostate.

Bombardiers and assassins: mimetic interactions between unequally defended insects
Data analysis All analyses were performed using R version 3.5.2 (R Core Team, 2018). Fisher’s exact test was used to compare the rates of rejection by frogs between bombardier beetles and assassin bugs. Welch’s t-test was used to compare the body size (body length and weight) of bombardier beetles and assassin bugs; it was also used to compare the body size (snout–vent length and body weight) of pond frogs that attacked bombardier beetles and assassin bugs.

Acteoside alleviates UUO-induced inflammation and fibrosis by regulating the HMGN1/TLR4/TREM1 signaling pathway
Discussion Act is a component of natural medicine, accumulating evidence supported that it has many positive effects in anti-inflammatory (Viswanatha et al., 2021). In this study, we demonstrated that Act effectively ameliorate the renal inflammation and fibrosis. The UUO model is commonly used to mimic the obstructive nephropathy. In rats with the UUO, renal interstitial macrophage infiltration, excessive interstitial extracellular matrix deposition, and renal fibrosis (Ucero et al., 2010).
Elasmobranch-associated microbiota: a scientometric literature review
Discussion This review directs the discussion to microorganisms associated with infections in elasmobranchs. Studies on elasmobranch-associated microbiota are scarce when compared to other types of shark and ray assessments. Shark evaluations are more plentiful for animals from natural environments, while studies concerning rays are more frequent for individuals from aquaria/oceanaria.
