I am an experienced freelance journalist with an extensive portfolio of over 1000 published pieces of written work and an undergraduate Journalism degree from the University of Winchester (awaiting final marks and official graduation).
As part of my university course, I regularly produced reports for the weekly news bulletin Winchester News Online (WINOL). For this, I would find a news story each week, film and edit a VT to be broadcast and published on YouTube. We also created radio packages, Instagram reels and wrote text stories in various semesters.
I currently cover Arsenal FC as a Site Expert for Pain In The Arsenal, part of the FanSided network. Along with writing news, feature and opinion pieces, I produce regular match coverage as well as editing and publishing the work of contributors.
I also worked as the Head of Media for National League South club Walton & Hersham. In this role, I managed the club's social media accounts to a high and consistent standard, among a number of other responsibilities, including writing for the official website and providing written previews and reports to local press outlets.
Along with my coursemates, I set up Total Sport, a Substack newsletter for us to write about respective sports we follow. As well as writing primarily about football and darts, I have covered a number of different sports and also act as editor, proofreading and editing articles before they are published.
From November 2020 to August 2024, I ran Clock End News, my own social media news page dedicated to Arsenal. The page amassed over 4000 combined followers across various platforms and paved the way for me to develop myself as a journalist.
