What does it mean to be a journalist?
It usually means you love gossip and also love being behind the scenes more than being in front of the curtain.

Why did you become a journalist?
It's the most exciting, and only thing I've ever wanted to do.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My secondary school didn't have a newspaper, but my undergrad university did and I spent more time doing that than my actual degree.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My interview with Howard Jones is the best thing I've ever worked on, and my favourite by far because I'm such a big fan of his.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't go into journalism for the sole reason that you want to write - there's a lot more to it than that, and lots of jobs never write.
