Why did you become a journalist?
I've always had a love for the written word.

Oh Yes! I since 7th grade! Then... I was a reporter for my 9th/10th grade! I was the features editor for 11th/12th grade
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of each article that I've written for varying reasons.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always follow your dream. Be willing to write for FREE initially and then find a way to make money at it.

I love all pitches! It shows that individuals have faith that I can bring their ideas to life.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
There is never a bad or worst pitch. Pitches mean that it's important to the person. Therefore, it's important to me.

Somewhere wishing I was at the computer...

I read several online publications. But my favorite source of news is MSNBC.
