1. Introduction According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) [1], healthy ageing is defined as the process of developing and maintaining the functional ability that enables wellbeing in older ages. Healthy ageing compiles a functional perspective on health in which personal factors, lifestyle behaviors, and environmental factors play crucial roles [2]. Nowadays, it entails a European societal challenge due to the current demographic change [3].
