Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as premier candidates for energy-efficient separations owing to their tunable porosity and chemical functionality. (1−3) In particular, MOF-based membranes offer significant potential for CO 2 /N 2 (4−6) and CO 2 /CH 4 (7−9) separation, providing high-purity feedstocks for value-added chemical synthesis.
