Abstract We find that family-owned firms in China exhibit higher labour cost stickiness. The result is robust to a range of tests, including instrumental variable regressions that use rice cultivation as an instrument, as well as a difference-in-differences design exploiting executive divorces in family firms. Compared with non-family firms, family firms are less inclined to reduce their workforce when sales decline.

2. Related Work Being categorized by the type of detection technique, the research for intrusion detection can be divided into two main categories: signature-based methods and anomaly-based methods. The core of the signature-based intrusion detection method lies in generating signatures and establishing a signature library according to certain rules based on known attacks, wherein it detects subsequent network features by matching them in the signature library.
