Graphical Abstract The Front Cover depicts an oxo-C12-HSL bacterial autoinducer complexed within an α-cyclodextrin macrocycle. In this work, the affinity of homoserine lactone autoinducers with different cyclodextrins was studied as an approach to modulating bacterial quorum sensing. But instead of just hearing about it, I decided to go and taste it from the source itself—Ramassery. We, a group of friends, started our journey from Chalakudy at night, taking the highway on our scooters, discussing random topics along the way. Our journey extended till Walayar border, making stops at tea stalls to keep ourselves awake.
