The visual identity for the 2026 RGD Student Awards, Bring the Heat, is bold, high-energy and unapologetic. It leans into motion, contrast and flame-inspired colour to reflect fearless creativity while keeping the messaging clear and benefit-driven. The goal is to inspire more students to enter and to position the awards as a meaningful career opportunity without making the experience feel rigid or corporate. By pairing gritty visuals with confident, direct language such as No fee.

This year’s Awards have launched in partnership with Design Partner Twin Studio, who share the thinking behind the brand concept. The RGD Student Awards recognize communication design excellence from students across Canada and celebrate work created as part of post-secondary studies. The program provides emerging designers with an opportunity to gain recognition from industry professionals and receive valuable feedback at an early stage in their careers.
