Linda Aitchison’s Biography

Currently authoring a non-fiction work exploring the ongoing effect of cumulative grief .

Also compiling a guide book to
Stratford-upon-Avon.

From recounting receiving big pants as a Christmas present for a women’s magazine to going undercover to investigate dodgy double glazing salesmen for a Sunday paper, I’ve loved my work.

I’ve been an editor, news editor, features writer, columnist, chief reporter and more, on regional and specialist titles and too many years ago in Russia where I first freelanced.

I’ve often contributed to women’s magazines over the years, including Bella, Take a Break, Company, Red and others.

I’ve cherished opportunities for travel writing and to report on remarkable ‘real life’ stories as well as health, hard news, business, education, parenting, bereavement and relationships.

These days I am focusing on travel and have compiled my Muckrack profile to reflect this.
