STILWELL, Okla. – Cherokee Nation citizen Amber Behrens is using her nutritional knowledge to help people lead healthier lives. With a degree in nutritional science, Behrens realized she wanted to help people using food and show them how to prepare foods in a healthier way that works for them instead of against them. Cherokee Nation citizen and nutritionist Amber Behrens enjoys spending one-on-one time with clients during her monthly visits to the Mary L.

TAHLEQUAH – Thirty-four road projects and 35 bridge projects are currently on Cherokee Nation’s Transportation Improvement Program list. The projects are spread across the reservation and range from resurfacing and reconstruction work to bridge replacements and improvements for pedestrians.
