More than 2,700 calls about Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance accounted for over a quarter of all customer service interactions over the past three months at Squaremouth.com, a nationwide travel insurance marketplace. When callers were asked why they’re considering CFAR coverage, most (33%) attributed their interest to feeling unsafe traveling during geopolitical tensions, including in Iran, Israel and the broader Middle East.

Median asking home prices fell 2.5% year over year in June, dropping from $440,950 in 2025 to $430,000 in 2026, according to a report released by Realtor.com. The drop represents the steepest median annual decline in the report’s history, dating back to 2017. It also marks the eighth consecutive month of median list price drops. Some experts say dropping median home list prices for an extended period can signal that the housing market is becoming more favorable for buyers.

The private sector added 98,000 new jobs in June, driven primarily by the 38,000 new hires for small businesses with one to 19 employees, according to a July 1 report from ADP, a global provider of cloud-based human resources (HR) and payroll management resources. To compare, businesses with 250 to 499 employees had significantly slower hiring in June, adding only 10,000 new jobs.
