NLRP3 inflammasome and Sjögren disease: mechanisms, clinical associations and therapeutic prospects
Abstract Sjögren disease (SjD; formerly referred to as Sjögren syndrome) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by exocrine gland dysfunction and systemic immune abnormalities.
Graded identification of air leakage in coal-mine gas drainage boreholes using a physics-augmented transformer–LSTM framework
Abstract Air leakage in gas drainage boreholes in coal mines reduces methane concentration and extraction efficiency, yet reliable grading remains difficult because weak leakage signatures can be obscured by noise and changes in operating conditions. This study proposes a physics-augmented Global–Local Transformer–LSTM (GL-TransLSTM) framework for classifying normal, slight, moderate, and severe leakage.

[ 177 Lu]Lu-DOTATATE and [ 177 Lu]Lu-DOTA-IBA Cocktail Therapy for Metastatic Small Cell Lung Cancer: Possible Applications in Clinical Practice
We present the case of a 53-y-old man who was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer via bronchoscopy over 2 y ago. Immunohistochemical analysis demonstrated positivity for cytokeratin pan, thyroid transcription factor 1, synaptophysin, and CD56; weak positivity for chromogranin A; and a Ki-67 index of approximately 90%. The tumor was initially staged as T3N1M1a.

The construction of CD8+ T cell-associated molecular subtypes in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma reveals tumor heterogeneity, tumor microenvironment, and immunotherapy
Abstract Background: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a cancer that is common worldwide. Its morbidity and mortality rates remain high, seriously threatening human health. In the tumor microenvironment (TME), CD8+ T cells undergo a series of dynamic changes that have important implications for tumor progression and the efficacy of immunotherapy.

Predicting MammaPrint Recurrence Risk from Breast Cancer Pathological Images Using a Weakly Supervised Transformer
1 Introduction Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women worldwide.[1] Recurrence and distant metastasis are significant factors that contribute to poor prognostic outcomes and are the primary causes of death among BC patients.[2, 3] Recurrence risk stratification is essential for informing therapeutic regimens in the clinical management of BC.
Text-enhanced incident duration prediction: An explainable end-to-end framework
Abstract Accurate prediction of traffic incident durations is essential for enabling traffic operators to implement timely response strategies and provide reliable travel advisories. Although textual data hold significant predictive potential, their utilization has been limited in prior studies because of interpretation challenges. This article introduces an explainable end-to-end framework that fuses incident messages with structured data to enhance incident duration prediction.

1. Introduction Vocational education is critical in preparing students with practical skills for specific careers [1]. Vocational education plays a pivotal role in equipping students with practical skills and knowledge that are directly applicable to specific careers [2]. This form of education is particularly important in the context of China, where the demand for skilled workers is rapidly increasing due to the country’s industrial growth and technological advancements [3].
An Updated Review on Developing Small Molecule Kinase Inhibitors Using Computer-Aided Drug Design Approaches
1. Introduction Drug marketing is a costly and lengthy process. According to statistics, ninety percent of drugs that entered clinical trials failed to get FDA approval, mainly because of various problems encountered during rational drug design [1]. With the rapid development of bioinformatics and computer technology, computer-aided drug design (CADD) has made great progress. CADD can be divided into structure-based drug design (SBDD) and ligand-based drug design (LBDD) [2].

Solute carrier family 12 member 8 impacts the biological behaviors of breast carcinoma cells by activating TLR/NLR signaling pathway
Abstract This study aimed to understand the expression of solute carrier family 12 member 8 (SLC12A8) in breast carcinoma and its biological functions, as well as its effect on the Toll-like receptor /NOD-like receptor (TLR/NLR) signaling pathway. The expression of SLC12A8 was analyzed using the public RNA sequencing dataset from TCGA database and the two datasets from Oncomine database. The former dataset was also used to evaluate the prognostic value of SLC12A8 in breast carcinoma.
The BMP ligand Pinhead together with Admp supports the robustness of embryonic patterning
Abstract Vertebrate embryonic dorsoventral axis is robustly stable in the face of variations in bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling. However, the molecular mechanism behind this robustness remains uncharacterized. In this study, we show that zebrafish Pinhead, together with Admp, plays an important compensatory role in ensuring the robustness of axial patterning through fine-tuning of BMP signaling.
GIT1 regulates angiogenic factor secretion in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells via NF‐κB/Notch signalling to promote angiogenesis
Abstract Objectives Osteogenesis is coupled with angiogenesis during bone remodelling. G‐protein‐coupled receptor (GPCR) kinase 2‐interacting protein‐1 (GIT1) is an important protein that participates in fracture healing by regulating angiogenesis. This study investigated whether GIT1 could affect bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) to secrete angiogenic factors to enhance fracture healing by promoting angiogenesis and its possible mechanism.
Effectively enhancing the enantioseparation ability of β-cyclodextrin derivatives by de novo design and molecular modeling
Rationally engineering the native ?-CD as an ideal chiral selector for a definite analyte in capillary electrophoresis represents a challenge in separation science. In this paper, a rational, systematic strategy combined de novo design and molecular modeling is firstly described to expedite the manipulation and selection of effective selector for enantioseparation in capillary electrophoresis.
