A doorman has suffered a series of horrific injuries after an alleged assault inside a Cornish nightclub at the weekend. The bouncer, an employee at The Venue in Market Place, Penzance, was left needing hospital treatment. The club's owner, Viv Evans, said he suffered injuries including a broken collarbone, fractured cheekbone, a split ear and a dislocated shoulder. She said he had asked a punter to leave before what she described as a "barbaric attack" was launched.
