They’re most recent film Arena Wars is about to premiere in a few weeks distributed by Gravitas Ventures, and their online media brand Tumbleweed has gained millions of followers between platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Abstract The 26th iteration of the Constitutional Cases conference was held on Friday, April 14, 2023. Osgoode Hall Law School’s Annual Constitutional Cases Conference, recognized as the leading constitutional law conference in Canada, brings together many highly respected constitutional scholars, lawyers, students, and experts for an insightful and practical analysis of the Supreme Court’s significant constitutional judgments of the past year.

The day before the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, I moderated a fantastic panel on advocacy. At the start of the event, I made a territorial land acknowledgement and renewed my own personal commitment to advancing reconciliation in my teaching and learning. I can think of no better way to do this than to write a blog post sharing what I see as a positive trend emerging in case law on real and meaningful reconciliation efforts for Indigenous peoples in the criminal justice system.
