Japan sets reimbursement prices for four new therapies, including two which recently received global-first approvals in the country. Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) has granted reimbursement prices to four newly approved products under its national health insurance (NHI) scheme, including to Ishin Pharma’s autologous cell therapy Allostem (nivadstrocel), which recently earned a global-first approval in the country for epidermolysis bullosa.
