I am a senior reporter at the Bury Times in Greater Manchester and cover shifts for The Bolton News, Lancashire Telegraph, The Oldham Times and Messenger (daily and weekly titles, in print and online).

I achieved a gold standard NCTJ Diploma in Multimedia Journalism via News Associates in 2024, followed by an on-the-job NQJ (distinction) in January 2026.

I also had an established career in PR and communications before moving into the media industry.

Two buildings, which are home to a Bury fish and chip shop and a hair salon, are up for sale after being withdrawn from auction earlier this year. A planning statement was submitted to Bury Council on April 23 by consultancy Euan Kellie Property Solutions, acting for D&V Lee Property Consultants Ltd. The application seeks a Certificate of Lawful Existing Use for 825 and 825a Manchester Road, between Bury and Whitefield.

Man taken to hospital after air ambulance landed in Tottington park

A man has been taken to hospital after a suspected medical episode on Wednesday morning (May 13). The incident happened near Kirklees Street in Tottington at around 8.30am, and a critical care air ambulance landed in a nearby park. There was a large emergency services presence, including several ambulances and police officers, with an alleyway cordoned off. Follow our live blog of the incident here.

I was awarded highly commended in the NCTJ Awards for Excellence in Journalism in the student data category. An article I wrote while studying at News Associates about rental costs rising higher in Greater Manchester than in any other area outside on London using ONS data was shortlisted.
