1. Introduction Risk assessment in hand-intensive work is of great value for detecting the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the neck and upper extremities. A commonly used method for the assessment of hand activity and force is the Hand Activity Threshold Limit Value® (HA TLV®).
