Highly efficient benzyl alcohol valorisation via the in-situ synthesis of H2O2 and associated reactive oxygen species. The selective oxidation of chemical feedstocks via in-situ production of reactive oxygen species (H2O2, •OOH, •OH, •O2-), represents an attractive, environmentally friendly alternative to the use of stoichiometric oxidants.

Super anti-sintering Pt nanoparticle catalysts on perovskite support by Ru ions enhancing the interface bonding Tian Qin, Siran Zhang, Wei Zhou, Jianing Mao, Kang An, Ningyan Li, Liwei Chen, Xi Liu, Bingbao Mei, Zheng Jiang, Zhong-Li Wang, Yusuke Yamauchi and Yuan Liu Abstract Supported noble metal catalysts are widely applied in energy and environmental catalytic reactions, however, noble metal particles are prone to sintering under reaction conditions.

Current studies in the Li-battery field are focusing on building systems with higher energy density than ever before. The path toward this goal, however, should not ignore aspects such as safety, stability, and cycling life. These issues frequently originate from interfacial instability, and therefore, precise surface chemistry that allows for accurate control of material surface and interfaces is much in demand for advanced battery research.
