Inhibition of salt-inducible kinases reprograms T cells and antitumor immunity in ovarian cancer
Abstract Patients with metastatic high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma are often unresponsive to immunotherapies; here we identify salt-inducible kinases (SIKs) as key drivers of immunosuppression. Human T cells in the presence of patient ascites express high levels of SIK and the upstream kinase LKB1, whereas SIK inhibition reprograms human T cells and strongly activates antitumor responses.
Author Correction: Confocal Airy beam oblique light-sheet tomography for brain-wide cell type distribution and morphology - Nature Methods
Correction to: Nature Methods https://doi.org/10.1038/s41592-025-02888-9, published online 13 November 2025. In the version of the article initially published, ref. 36 was incorrect and has now been amended to “Dunsby, C. Optically sectioned imaging by oblique plane microscopy. Opt. Express 16, 20306–20316 (2008)”. In the “Imaging system and software” section of the Methods, “The virtual slit width was set to 13 μm at the image plane, which corresponds to 520 nm in the sample plane.
Confocal Airy beam oblique light-sheet tomography for brain-wide cell type distribution and morphology - Nature Methods
Abstract Advanced brain-wide mapping is critical for addressing complex questions in neuroscience. However, current imaging methods are limited by throughput, resolution and signal-to-noise ratio, constraining their broader applicability. Here, we present confocal Airy beam integrated with single-photon oblique light-sheet tomography (CAB-OLST): a system that integrates single-photon excitation with a scanned Airy beam light sheet, virtual slit detection and automated mechanical sectioning.

A study of machine learning models for rapid intraoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules for clinical practice in China
1 INTRODUCTION Over the past few decades, the prevalence of thyroid cancer has increased owing to the improved detection and diagnosis of tiny indolent thyroid tumors.1 Fine-needle aspiration is the primary tool for risk stratification of nodules and guiding treatment.
Brain organoid data synthesis and evaluation
1. Introduction The scarcity of public datasets of annotated biomedical images remains an unresolved bottleneck to develop specialized and robust analysis tools. Often, research groups do not share experimental data for privacy reasons. The high costs of equipment, long acquisition times, and necessary in-depth expertise can be a brake to acquisitions by other teams (Chakradhar, 2016).

Deep Learning-Based Recognition of Cervical Squamous Interepithelial Lesions
Abstract : Cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions (SILs) are precursor lesions of cervical cancer, and their accurate diagnosis enables patients to be treated before malignancy manifests. However, the identification of SILs is usually laborious and has low diagnostic consistency due to the high similarity of pathological SIL images.
