Interview

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Telling the untold stories and connecting the dots globally by informing someone sitting halfway across the world what it means to them.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was the sports editor for my college newspaper. I've always been keen on sports, but somehow found my way into business and general news.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Push the envelope. Nobody said it was going to be easy but the payoff is gold.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Outdoors.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

The Economist
