What was your first job as a journalist?

I was the managing copy editor of my high school newspaper, The King's Page.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I've never used a typewriter in my life.

How is social media changing news?

News consumers are receiving news much faster.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Iris West-Allen from The Flash is an amazing fictional journalist.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To be a journalist means to help facilitate dialogue based on data, new information and first-hand experiences.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I prefer social media and/or emails.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I use Google Drive and Adobe Audition mostly.

What's your favorite social network?

I enjoy exploring TikTok each day.

If Ozuna followed me on Instagram, I'd faint.

Anytime, honestly!
