Comprehensive quantitative analysis of polyolefin hydrogenolysis toward plastic waste management
Abstract New methods for recovering the energy and value from polyolefin plastic waste must account for all the hydrocarbons formed during a deconstruction reaction. Analysis of the reaction mixture distribution is key to determining a catalyst’s performance (activity and selectivity) and evaluating the economic viability of a conversion process.

A Novel Approach for Quad-Dominant Mesh Generation Using Conformal Mapping Compressed Gradient Field
1 Introduction All discrete computations of physical fields (such as stress, velocity, and temperature) are based on the topological and geometric quality of mesh elements [1]. Traditional quadrilateral meshes [2-7] (with poor geometric adaptability) and triangular meshes (with insufficient accuracy and stability) both have obvious shortcomings, which have provided impetus for the research on quad-dominant meshes.
Roadmap for transforming heterogeneous catalysis with artificial intelligence
4 hours ago Apple added RCS support to iPhone with iOS 18.1, enabling richer cross-platform messaging between iPhone and Android users. This included things like typing indicators, read receipts, and high-resolution photo and video attachments. Last March, Apple announced its plans to add support for end-to-end …
Roadmap for transforming heterogeneous catalysis with artificial intelligence - Nature Catalysis
Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to transform heterogeneous catalysis, opening avenues for catalytic materials discovery. By uncovering intricate patterns in high-dimensional data, AI has been reshaping our pursuit of sustainable catalytic processes across the energy, environmental and chemical sectors.

Differences between phytophagous and predatory species in Pentatomidae based on the mitochondrial genome
1 INTRODUCTION Pentatomidae, the largest family in the superfamily Pentatomoidea, comprising approximately 5000 known species belonging to over 900 genera, is widely distributed worldwide (Grazia et al., 2015; Rider et al., 2018). Most Pentatomidae species are phytophagous and feed on the fluids of their host plants, thereby causing huge losses to economic crops. Phytophagous bugs are important pests in agriculture and forests.

Unraveling the Dynamic Network in the Reactions of an Alkyl Aryl Ether Catalyzed by Ni/γ-Al2O3 in 2-Propanol
The reductive cleavage of aryl ether linkages is a key step in the disassembly of lignin to its monolignol components, where selectivity is determined by the kinetics of multiple parallel and consecutive liquid-phase reactions.
