Heritage-informed decarbonization solutions that blend technical and cultural approaches are needed in a sector striving to meet increasingly urgent climate targets. And yet, policies and regulations often leave aside or actively create barriers to decarbonization through cultural heritage.

Concerns are mounting across Iowa after the National Head Start Association (NHSA) was contacted by a reporter on Friday, April 11, reporting that President Trump’s proposed federal budget could affect future funding for Head Start. While the budget has not yet been made public and the source remains unconfirmed, the possibility that these changes could significantly impact Head Start services has left advocates, educators, and families stunned.

Lori was born on Nov. 10, 1959. She was the daughter of Paula (Lagana) LaRosa and Steven F. LaRosa formerly of New Britain. Lori attended New Britain High School and was a certified nursing assistant. She worked at Bradley Memorial Hospital, Sheridan Woods Rehabilitation Center and most recently Quality Coils. Lori loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Lori was predeceased by her mother, Paula (Lagana) LaRosa; her father, Steven F.
