Primary trio’s poster efforts recognised

North and East Otago Attendance Service has announced the winners of its poster competition, whose aim was to help primary school pupils realise the importance of attending school. The prizes were sponsored by the Waitaki Aquatic Centre, Oamaru Top 10 Holiday Park mini golf, the Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony and the Riviera Cinema. The overall regional winners were St Joseph’s School pupil Phoebe Cogle, 9; Ardgowan School pupil Louie Smith, 10; and Totara School pupil Sylas Tairi, 11.
