Cork Opera House is set to celebrate the arrival of its new Steinway Model B classic grand with a special concert bringing together some of Cork and Ireland’s leading musical talent across classical repertoire, opera, musical theatre, jazz, soul and popular music. The Steinway will take centre stage alongside the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra, conducted by John O’Brien, in a concert curated by O’Brien and acclaimed Cork pianist Ciara Moroney.

Two of Britain’s most acclaimed voices come together for one exceptional evening - a special double-bill concert featuring individual headline performances from Emeli Sandé and James Morrison. BRIT Award-winning James Morrison brings his soulful voice and timeless hits, from global breakthrough You Give Me Something to favourites like Broken Strings and I Won’t Let You Go, alongside songs from his 2025 album Fight Another Day.

Clare Sands announces a new album ‘They Tried to Bury Us’, due for release in October, and today she shares the title track. Over haunting uilleann pipes, Clare’s vocal echoes the immortal words of poet Refat Alareer: If I must die, you must live to tell my tale. This opening song from Clare’s new album was inspired by the solidarity movement in Ireland - giving hope and strength during the darkest times.
